Government Chhatrasal College, Pichhore is situated 77 km far from district headquarters Shivpuri and 75 km far from Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. The College was established in 1962 as a private college which was undertaken by Department of Higher Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh in 1971. The college has been recognized under 2(f) and 12 (b) of UGC Act 1956 and affiliated to KRANTIVEER TATYATOPE UNIVERSITY GUNA and JIWAJI UNIVERSITY, GWALIOR. Recently the college has been conducting under graduate and post graduate courses in arts, science and commerce faculty. Post graduate courses are conducting in 10 various subjects viz., Chemistry, Botany, Mathematics, Hindi, English, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, History and Commerce. This is the only Govt. College at this tehsil place providing coeducation since 1964. The college is under the world bank project (MPHEQIP).

OUR VISION

To develop the institute into an advance and progressive teaching-learning centre by achieving good NAAC grade through imparting quality education and increasing employability/self employment/admission in PG courses by 20% in next five years.
